What is the Driver Lounge?

The Driver Lounge is a premium VIP hospitality product, owned and operated by Legends Experiences Limited, based in the UK.

What does the Driver Lounge do?

The Driver Lounge creates VIP hospitality experiences that celebrate legends of motorsport, immersing guests in their racing careers and raising money for their nominated charity. The Driver Lounge does this by partnering directly with the legend or their estate to create a fully authentic and approved experiences for fans around the world. From great track views and premium food & drink, to F1 personality appearances, show cars and memorabilia, the race weekend experience is like none other in the sport. It is a new way to experience motor racing - one that gives back to charity at the same time as forging incredible memories for guests.

Who are the founders of the Driver Lounge?

The founders of the Driver Lounge (Legends Experiences) hold over 50 years of combined Formula 1 experience and knowledge between them. They are:

James O'Brien. JOB started working in Formula 1 in 2005 and has represented almost every team on the Formula 1 grid. An expert in creating and delivering immersive experiences, he loves to build storytelling into the at-track lounge experience.

Rich Soddy. Rich has spent the past 18 years in the paddocks of Formula 1 and other motorsports, working for an on behalf of some of the biggest brands in motor racing. Having grown up in 'Motorsport Valley' in the UK, Rich loves to celebrate motorsport stories of the past.

James Paton. JP's first involvement in Formula 1 was in the commercial team at Red Bull Racing. Since then he has worked for numerous brands and his keen eye for detail ensures that the Driver Lounge team never misses a trick on social media or in real life.

What events has the Driver Lounge done before?

The Driver Lounge launched in September of 2025 at the Italian F1 GP at Monza. The team is currently planning events for 2026 and beyond, with exciting opportunities in Formula 1, MotoGP, Le Mans and Indycar.

What is the refund policy?

Once purchased, we are not able to refund tickets. We will, however, add you to our 'Returns List' and we will make our best efforts to re-sell your ticket to another guest. Please get in touch with us directly to speak to us: hello@legendsexperiences.com

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the Schumacher Lounge (Monza) is accessible and, while Monza is generally flat it does cover a large area and can be difficult to navigate. If you have any accessibility requirements at all, please get in touch directly with us: hello@legendsexperiences.com

What is the minimum age?

Guests aged 12 and above are welcome at all Driver Lounge events, but we require that minors (under the age of 18) are accompanied by a responsible adult.

What food options are available at the Driver Lounge events?

The Driver Lounge offers free-flowing food and beverage including vegetarian and vegan options. You will be offered a light breakfast, followed by lunch and an afternoon tea. Soft and alcoholic drinks will be served all day. Please let us know of any specific dietary requirements.

Can I bring my own food?

Guests are not allowed to bring their own food and drinks to the Driver Lounge events - we hope that there will be plenty that takes your fancy on offer in the Lounge.

Can I bring a bag?

Small rucksacks and handbags are allowed in the Driver Lounge events but may be subject to security searches. There is no bag storage at the venue so travel luggage is not permitted on site.

What will I have to pay for on-site?

All food and drinks are included in your Driver Lounge ticket. You will need to pay for any additional items such as merchandise, memorabilia etc. Guests of the Driver Lounge events can access the Fan Zone, where there are plenty of activities, some of which cost money.

Is there transportation provided?

Is there a dress code for the events?

There is no set dress code for the Driver Lounge events. We recommend closed toe shoes and no high heels due to the walking required to access Formula 1 circuits. The weather can be changeable throughout most race weekends so we recommend preparing for sun and rain.

Is there a social media hashtag or handle I should use throughout the weekend?

We would love to hear from guests so feel free to follow us on social media: @driverloungehospitality (X and Instagram). We recommend searching for the hashtag: #[LEGEND]lounge for updates and content.

Can I see the racetrack from the Driver Lounge events?

Yes! We are focused on delivering trackside locations for all of our events. When we partner with Legends of motorsport, we look to understand what is / was important to them. Often, the on-track racing is a critical element of the passion for the sport so we will always look to deliver a great race viewing experience.

Do I need to bring my own ear defenders to Driver Lounge events?

You are very welcome to bring your own ear defenders to the Driver Lounge events. We will, however, be providing in-ear ear plugs on-site so if you do not have your own, we can provide them.

Can I bring my pet?

No. For safety reasons you are not allowed to bring your pets. Guide dogs for the visually impaired and service dogs are allowed but you must inform us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements: hello@legendsexperiences.com

Is smoking allowed at Driver Lounge events?

For safety reasons and in the interests of other guests, no smoking is allowed inside the venue or on the terrace, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes. For those wishing to smoke, we request that you make your way towards the fan areas or follow on-site instructions.
